Philippine-born Butch Andres’ passion for music blossomed at the ripe age of just 14. Starting out as a popular mobile DJ artist along with the help of his friends at Music Planet Mobile Company, Manila’s largest sound system supplier, Butch mastered everything from the basics of mixing, remixing and scratching to emceeing and engineering stunning light and sound shows.


After successful residency stints as master DJ at two of the top dance venues in Manila -the Decades Bar and Verve Room, Butch was invited to Macau as resident DJ at the ultra hot - DD Disco, leading the Territory’s nascent dance club boom in the 90s. – According to the Macau Post Daily Newspaper - Butch was a pioneer who “Revolutionised and elevated the Macau night club scene”. He helped lay the groundwork for the amazing growth of other night clubs and discos while mentoring young and talented local DJs in Macau.


Since early 2009, DJ Butch has kept the crowds fully pumped at the Lion’s Bar and is a favorite with local and overseas visitors alike for his ability to “read a crowd” and adapt his performances to any situation.


Now with the revitalised Lion’s Bar in full swing since May of 2011, Butch has scaled new heights of entertainment innovation not only mixing the best music, but also incorporating in his shows exciting HD videos on the eye-popping 7m LED wall.
